Architectural Overview
Comprehensive extension and transformation of a villa and its guest house, located in the town of Ciudad Quesada, just 6 km from the coastline of Guardamar in the province of Alicante.
Originally a typical 1980s construction, the property was reimagined to meet contemporary needs—expanded and modernized with a focus on clean, simplified lines.
A full upper floor was added, while the original curved façades and arched porches gave way to a minimalist design language of straight lines and geometric forms.
The result is a harmonious ensemble of crisp white volumes, offering a total of 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms

Pego Townhouse
BUILDING SURVEYING & STRUCTURAL REPORTING
Location: Pego, Alicante
Year: 2021
Architects: The Architect Mate (Beatriz López)
Status: Completed
Architectural Overview
The Architect Matewere commissioned to assess the condition of this magnificent gem in the heart of the historic center of Pego, focusing on the severely deteriorated structure—consisting of wooden beams and Catalan vaulted ceilings—and to generate renovation proposals.
The documentation, prepared by our team and our own structural specialists, proved invaluable in helping the owner properly approach the bidding phase of the works, preventing both potential structural issues and discrepancies in budgets and cost
overruns.
